Operation Encompass

Our school is part of Operation Encompass, a national initiative that supports children who may have been affected by domestic abuse. Through Operation Encompass, the police share information with the school before the start of the next school day when a child has been present at, exposed to, or involved in a domestic abuse incident. This enables us to provide timely and appropriate support to children and families.

The school's Key Adult(s) for Operation Encompass are:

• James Yellop, Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL)
• Adam Thurgood, Rachel Tittershill and Kirsty Shepherd, Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead (DDSL)

If you would like further information about Operation Encompass, please contact the school or visit the Operation Encompass website (see below for National and Derbyshire links).
