Yesterday we took these wonderful Year 3 and 4 athletes to Broomfield Sports Centre in Derby. There we competed against 5 other schools in a range of track and field activities.

The events we took part in were;

Obstacle Relay
1x1 Relay
2x2 Relay
Hurdles
Over and under Relay
4x4 Relay
Chest push throws
Standing long jumps
Triple jump
Verticals jump
Javelin
Speed bounce

After a hard competition with lots of successes in different events our team total placed us 3rd, 2points behind 2nd and a further point from 1st.
Had we won one more race we would have topped the leader board.

A brilliant time was had by all, great effort and lovely behaviour.
