  • Welcome to the 'Firfield Hog House'

    One of our members of staff have created the above Hedgehog House to become a new addition within Johns Garden. Our staff have been working hard to add to Johns Garden so that pupils can experience a garden full of growing plants and wildlife, and even seeking donations from companies to keep improving the space.   • Kings Coronation Celebrations

    On Friday 5th May 2023, we celebrated the Kings Coronation during the afternoon. All pupils enjoyed a Coronation Party where they sat outside together on the playground and had some afternoon party food. It was lovely to celebrate all together, and there was definitely a lot of dancing involved!

  • Mayday Gala 2023

    Thank you to one of our Year 6 Teachers, Mrs Lawson, for organising the Mayday Gala. Parents and the local community all thoroughly enjoyed the day and felt it was so great to have Firfield children bringing the tradition to life. Firfield pupils enjoyed the maypole dancing and showcased their routine, having worked hard on it over the weeks leading up to May Day.

  • Breaston in Bloom Support

  • Firfield fundraise for Comic Relief!

    On Friday 17th March 2023, pupils and staff celebrated Comic Relief throughout the school day. All in all, the school raised a whopping £847.06! Thank you to everyone for your generous contributions and for supporting the cause.

  • Gymnastics Festival

    Last term pupils at Firfield attended the Gymnastics Festival and had lots of fun whilst enjoying new ways to exercise. Pupils developed their balancing skills and really engaged with the staff supporting at the festival. It was an exciting and active day for all.

  • Young Voices 2023

    On Thursday 9th February 2023, pupils who attend our extracurricular 'Glee Club' were invited to attend this year's Young Voices concert.

    Pupils and staff all had an excellent time and sang their hearts out to all the Young Voices songs they had been practising over the past few months at Glee Club. It was a brilliant day for all, and even had special guest Heather Small performing at the show.

    The Book Fair will be at school from Monday 6th March to Friday 9th March. We will be again operating a cashless system, payment can be made online using the QR code or the link emailed home nearer the time.

  • PTA Christmas Fayre Fun

    On Friday 2nd December, the PTA transformed the school and prepared our very own grotto all ready for Santa's visit! We had a great turnout, and raised lots of money for the PTA. Stalls included tombola, sweets sales and even Firfield's game-show 'Play Your Cards Right'. Thank you to everyone who helped organised the event, those who were able to attend and supported.
